Lauren graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy) from the University of South Australia in 2016. Lauren has always had a passion of working with children and then developed an interest of the human body, leading her to combining these passions to become an Occupational Therapist. While at University, she completed one of her final year placements at OTFC. Other placements included a community development placement at Headspace in Port Augusta, and a clinical placement in Aged-Care at ACH: Milpara. From University, Lauren then went on to work in Port Pirie at a Paediatric Private Practice before returning to Adelaide to work at OTFC.

Lauren grew up in the Adelaide Hills and played basketball, tennis, netball, soccer and little athletics. Even today, Lauren continues to play soccer in the Adelaide Women’s Premier League. Lauren enjoys travelling, and has been to over 20 countries, with her favourite being the Philippines and New Zealand.
