Amy graduated from her Masters in OT from Flinders University in 2015 after completing a Bachelor of Health Science. While studying she also completed her Certificate 3 and 4 in Fitness and Zumba Instructor training. It was during this time she was lucky enough to teach fitness and Zumba classes to children as young as 4 years of age.  Working with children in the fitness setting really cemented her goal of wanting to work as a paediatric Occupational Therapist once she graduated. Being able to help children and families grow and develop to be the best versions of themselves is important to Amy and she hopes she can combine her love of personal fitness training, Zumba and Occupational Therapy to do exactly that. Whilst a student, Amy attended Camp Jabiru in Sydney and again went back as a practicing OT in 2016. Her desire and initiative to see all children experience life no matter their barriers is the reason OTFC is bringing CampEVOLVE to Adelaide in 2017. Along with Ali and Michelle, Amy sits on the Foundation Team of this Initiative and is going to be an integral part its success. Amy spends her time between one on one and group therapy both within the school and Clinic Setting and is our resident OTFC School Observer providing feedback to families and teachers on how they can best support their child. A joy to be around, always smiling and energetic we are so proud to have her as part of the OTFC Family.
